President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on the establishment of the technical university ToshTech, reports the press service of the Ministry of Justice.
The newly created university will receive financial, academic, and organizational independence. In the first stage, one-year training courses will be launched this year.
Starting next year, the university will train specialists in undergraduate programs. Starting in 2027, students will be able to enroll in master's programs and postgraduate programs.
Students will be taught in Uzbek and foreign languages on a grant and contract basis. Students admitted before 2029/2030 will receive a state grant.
