ToshTech and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) Signed Memorandum of Understanding

On January 29, 2026, Tashkent University of Technologies (ToshTech) hosted an official meeting with a delegation from one of the world’s premier academic institutions — Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). The visit culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a robust foundation for long-term academic and scientific synergy between the two universities.

The meeting was attended by the Rector of ToshTech, Professor Adham Khudaykulov, alongside International Cooperation Office managers Lola Badalova and Nargiza Saatova. Representing the university’s strategic partner, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), were Principal Pavel Zolotarev and Expert Alexey Gusev.

The SJTU delegation was led by Vice President Professor ZHANG Zhaoguo, accompanied by Professor WANG Qian (Deputy Director of the Division of Global Cooperation and Exchange), LI Yongyuan, and Asia Affairs Specialist CHEN Hailei. The Student Innovation Center was represented by SONG Xuming, CHU Pengzhi, and FENG Xiao.

Founded in 1896, Shanghai Jiao Tong University is one of China’s oldest and most prestigious institutions, commanding immense respect on the global stage. Its standing in major international rankings reflects its extraordinary academic and research caliber:
