Adkham Khudoykulov has been appointed rector of the technical university ToshTech, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation reported.
Earlier, the head of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev relieved him of his duties as head of the National Agency for Education Quality Assurance under the Presidential Administration.
Decision to establish a university ToshTech was accepted on September 9. The university will receive financial, academic and organizational independence.
ToshTech will accept its first undergraduate students from the next academic year.
