On February 18, 2026, as part of the official visit of the Tashkent University of Technology (ToshTech) delegation to Italy, a meeting was held with the leadership of one of Europe’s leading technical universities — Politecnico di Milano. The key outcome of the negotiations was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, laying the foundation for long-term academic and scientific cooperation between the two universities.
The meeting was attended by ToshTech Rector Professor Adham Khudaykulov, representative of the International Cooperation Office Polat Jurayev, as well as Pavel Zolotaryov from Boston Consulting Group.
From Politecnico di Milano, the meeting was attended by Rector Donatella Sciuto, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Professor Ilaria Valente, and members of the academic staff.
Founded in 1863, Politecnico di Milano is the largest technical university in Italy and one of the most prestigious engineering institutions in the world.

During the meeting, the parties identified key areas for future cooperation, including academic mobility of students and faculty; development of joint educational programs; implementation of joint research and innovation projects; development of transnational education programs; organization of internships, summer schools, and research initiatives; and participation in international grant and industrial projects.
