About the University

Tosh Tech Technical University is a new-generation state university established under Resolution No. PQ-274 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “On the establishment of the ToshTech Technical University in Tashkent”. Its core mission is to prepare highly qualified engineers who can develop and implement modern technological solutions, advance national industry and support the digital transformation of the economy in line with international education standards.

Bachelor’s study in 2026/2027

For the 2026/2027 academic year, Tosh Tech offers Bachelor’s preparation in four priority fields:

  • Power Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering and Management
  • Materials Science and Nanotechnology

300 state-funded places

For the first academic year, 300 state-funded places are available to applicants, giving students the opportunity to receive their education fully at the expense of the state.

Official announcement

The President signed a resolution on the establishment of ToshTech University.

The newly established university will have financial, academic and organizational independence. One-year courses will be launched this year. Bachelor’s degrees will be opened next year, and admission to Master’s and postgraduate courses will begin in 2027. Education will be provided on a grant and contract basis, in Uzbek and foreign languages. Students admitted until 2029/2030 will be provided with a state grant.
