The President signed a decree on the establishment of ToshTech University.

The newly established university will have financial, academic and organizational independence. One-year courses will be launched this year. Bachelor's degrees will be opened next year, and admission to master's and postgraduate courses will begin in 2027. Education will be provided on a grant and contract basis, in Uzbek and foreign languages. Students admitted until 2029/2030 will be provided with a state grant.

During the visit, the guest was provided with detailed information about the history of ToshTech Technical University, its development strategy, priority educational and research areas, as well as the projects being implemented to advance modern engineering education.The delegation also toured the university’s new campus, where they were introduced to modern classrooms, educational and research infrastructure, and the facilities created to provide students with a high-quality learning environment.At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for developing cooperation in the training of highly qualified engineering and professional specialists, as well as strengthening the integration of education and practical training

Today, representatives of Tashkent International University of Chemistry (KIUT) visited ToshTech Technical University

During the visit, the guests became acquainted with the university’s key areas of activity, its educational and research potential, and its development strategy.The delegation also toured ToshTech’s new campus, where they were introduced to its modern educational and research infrastructure, laboratories, and the facilities created for students.At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on prospects for strengthening cooperation in higher education, science, and innovation, as well as implementing joint projects.

ToshTech Technical University Hosted an Official Meeting with the JICA Delegation

Today, ToshTech Technical University hosted an official meeting with a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).During the meeting, the delegation was presented with a comprehensive overview of the university's history, strategic development concept, ongoing reforms in modern engineering education, academic programs, research activities, and initiatives aimed at developing its innovation ecosystem.The discussions focused on advancing higher education, supporting scientific research and innovation, expanding international academic cooperation, promoting faculty and student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint educational and research projects.The parties also placed special emphasis on sharing international best practices, implementing advanced educational approaches, and fostering long-term cooperation.At the conclusion of the meeting, ToshTech Technical University and JICA reached an agreement to further strengthen their partnership, jointly implement promising initiatives, and develop mutually beneficial projects in the future
