Meetings Held with Foundation Preparatory Course Students at Tosh Tech Technical University
Meetings were organized with students of the Foundation Preparatory Courses at Tosh Tech Technical University with the participation of the Director of the Foundation Program. During the meetings, students were provided with detailed information about the educational opportunities available at the university, the structure of the Foundation Program, as well as the benefits and opportunities offered during the admission process to applicants who successfully complete the program. In addition, the dates of the final assessment examinations for Foundation Preparatory Course students were announced, and explanations were provided regarding the examination procedures and assessment criteria. As part of the event, an open dialogue session was held with the Head of the Foundation Preparatory Center. Students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive comprehensive information about the educational process, final assessments, and university admission procedures. These meetings serve to familiarize students with the academic environment and educational system of Tosh Tech Technical University, while also helping them make informed decisions about their future educational pathway
Tashkent Tech University Team Met with Talented Youth in Jizzakh Region
As part of its efforts to enhance the capacity of modern engineering professionals in Uzbekistan and to expand young people’s access to quality higher education, representatives of Tashkent Tech University conducted a series of outreach and presentation events in the Jizzakh region. During the visit, the university team visited the Presidential School in Jizzakh and several leading educational centers, where meetings were organized with students, prospective applicants, and educational institution administrators. During these meetings, participants received detailed information about the university’s academic programs, modern curricula, international cooperation opportunities, grants and scholarships, as well as the facilities and support available to students. In addition, an open dialogue session was held with participants, during which questions related to the university admission process, quality of education, and student life were addressed. Meetings were also conducted with the management of educational centers to discuss guiding young people toward careers in engineering and technology, as well as opportunities for developing long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation. This visit marked another important milestone in Tashkent Tech University’s ongoing efforts to encourage young people in the regions to pursue modern professions, increase their interest in higher education, and contribute to the preparation of highly qualified engineering professionals for the country.

On May 31, the “Tashkent Tech Model United Nations” (TTMUN) conference was held at Tashkent University of Technology. This large-scale educational project brought together more than 200 delegates, including both local and international participants. Acting as representatives of different countries, the delegates engaged in discussions on pressing global issues related to technology, engineering, innovation, and international cooperation. The event was organized to encourage young people to engage with public and international affairs while developing their skills in diplomacy, leadership, and negotiation. In particular, the Rector of Tashkent University of Technology, Adkham Khudaykulov, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of developing engineering education and expanding international cooperation. Distinguished international guests also participated in the festival, including Serge Haroche, Moez Chakchouk, and Oliver Tian, further highlighting the global significance of engineering education. One of the festival’s most significant outcomes was the establishment of the Consortium of Regional Academic Engineering Schools among higher education institutions in Central Asia and Russia. This initiative aims to strengthen academic cooperation, scientific research, and student exchange programs. As part of the festival, competitions are being held across 9 major categories and 23 subcategories, along with international Olympiads, innovation exhibitions, forums, and hackathons. A new modern technical university, TASHKENT TECH, will be established in the capital of Uzbekistan. The project is initiated by the President's Assistant, Saida Mirziyoyeva. The organizational committee meeting for the establishment of the university took place yesterday. The new university will be developed based on the Tashkent State Technical University, as part of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and will become an important element of the ongoing reform in the higher education system. Its primary goal is to train a new generation of engineers and enhance the appeal of technical specialties among young people. The concept for TASHKENT TECH is being developed in collaboration with the international consulting company Boston Consulting Group. This partnership will help integrate advanced international standards, innovative teaching methods, and effective management models into the educational process. "Our strategic goal is to create a technical university of a new format that meets global standards. I am confident that TASHKENT TECH will not just be a university but a driving force for Uzbekistan's technological sovereignty and sustainable industrial growth," emphasized Saida Mirziyoyeva. Tashkent Tech Conducts First Admission Test for the Free Foundation Program Aimed at Preparing a New Generation of Engineers
On November 29–30, Tashkent University of Technology (Tashkent Tech) held a selection test for participation in Foundation, a free preparatory program in mathematics and physics designed for 11th-grade students. The initiative aims to strengthen students’ core knowledge in key STEM subjects and ensure their confident preparation for university studies. More than 200 candidates took part in the test, demonstrating strong interest in the program and a desire to begin their studies as soon as possible. The Foundation program will be delivered in both Uzbek and Russian, making it accessible to highly motivated students from across the country. The course materials and structure were developed by Constructor University (Germany), an international institution with extensive experience in STEM program development and working with talented youth. The program integrates modern teaching methodologies, hands-on practice, and a strong focus on developing engineering thinking. According to **Tashkent Tech Rector Adham Khudaykulov**, the launch of the program plays a strategic role in the university’s mission: “Tashkent Tech is committed to preparing the next generation of engineers for professions that will be in high demand in 5, 10, and even 15 years. The earlier students begin systematic preparation in STEM fields, the easier it will be for them to adapt to university-level coursework and make well-informed decisions about their future careers. The Foundation program is the first step in this direction, and we are delighted to see such strong interest from students,” he said. **Olga Kornienko, Director for Talent Programs at Constructor University**, emphasized the importance of early career orientation and deep learning of technical disciplines: “By fostering interest in STEM subjects among school students, we create a foundation for their future success in engineering and technology fields.
