Entrance exams for the 2026/2027 academic year were held at Tashkent University of Technology on August 13–14
The exams were organized in collaboration with Constructor University and the Agency for Assessment of Knowledge and Skills. Applicants took exams in mathematics, physics, and English. Tosh Tech University of Technology welcomed a delegation from one of Italy's leading innovation ecosystems — ROAD (Rome Advanced District).
ROAD is a consortium that brings together major industrial companies, research centers, and universities. It develops and implements advanced projects in the fields of energy, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and sustainable development. During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for joint research projects, the establishment of innovation laboratories, the organization of industrial internships, as well as cooperation within international research programs and European grant-funded initiatives. As a result of the negotiations, Tosh Tech University of Technology and ROAD (Rome Advanced District) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), laying the foundation for future academic, scientific, and technological collaboration.
Akmal Sukhrobovich Rustamov has been appointed as the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Tosh Tech Technical University.
In accordance with the relevant Order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Akmal Sukhrobovich Rustamov has been appointed as the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Tosh Tech Technical University. Prior to this appointment, Akmal Rustamov held various positions at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. Since 2021, he has served as the Head of the Research and Innovation Department at Kimyo International University, where he led the development of the University's research activities, oversaw the implementation of innovative projects, and contributed to strengthening its scientific and research capacity. For reference, Tosh Tech Technical University was established pursuant to Resolution No. PQ-274 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 8 September 2025.
Gayrat Asomidinov Akhmadjon ogli has been appointed as the Executive Director of Tosh Tech Technical University.
In accordance with the relevant order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gʻayrat Asomidinov Akhmadjon o‘g‘li has been appointed as the Executive Director of Tosh Tech Technical University. Prior to this appointment, Gʻayrat Asomidinov served within the system of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For reference, Tosh Tech Technical University was established pursuant to Resolution No. PQ-274 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 8 September 2025. Today, Tosh Tech Technical University is carrying out extensive educational activities aimed at preparing highly qualified specialists in the fields of modern engineering, technology, and innovation in accordance with international standards.

Today, ToshTech Technical University hosted an official meeting with a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). During the meeting, the delegation was presented with a comprehensive overview of the university's history, strategic development concept, ongoing reforms in modern engineering education, academic programs, research activities, and initiatives aimed at developing its innovation ecosystem. The discussions focused on advancing higher education, supporting scientific research and innovation, expanding international academic cooperation, promoting faculty and student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint educational and research projects. The parties also placed special emphasis on sharing international best practices, implementing advanced educational approaches, and fostering long-term cooperation.
